{"id":668,"date":"2014-05-09T10:03:10","date_gmt":"2014-05-09T10:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/divulgah2.es\/?page_id=668"},"modified":"2014-07-30T18:36:28","modified_gmt":"2014-07-30T18:36:28","slug":"produccion","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/divulgah2.es\/en\/aprende-sobre\/hidrogeno\/produccion\/","title":{"rendered":"Hydrogen &#8211; Production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><h2 class=\"title\"><span>Methods to produce hydrogen<\/span><\/h2> There are several methods to produce hydrogen from different raw materials, different energy sources and by different procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the raw material and the energy source used to produce it, we may speak of processes 100% renewable, 100% fossil or hybrid processes in a certain percentage.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/divulgah2.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/info-h2a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"sombreado alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/divulgah2.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/info-h2a.jpg\" alt=\"info-h2a\" width=\"458\" height=\"256\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nHydrogen can be produced locally, at large central plants or in small distributed units located at or near the point of use (on-site production). This means that every community, even remote areas, can become an energy producer.<\/p>\n<p>When produced using renewable energy sources and powering highly efficient fuel cells, the environmental benefits of hydrogen are even greater. Additionally, hydrogen can be produced and stored using off-peak energy produced by renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, hydraulic&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>One kilogram of hydrogen can release more energy than any other fuel (almost the triple of gasoline or natural gas), and to release that energy does not emit any carbon dioxide, only water vapor, <strong>so the environmental impact is zero.<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are several methods to produce hydrogen from different raw materials, different energy sources and by different procedures.
